  1. Visit myetherwallet.com

  2. Enter a safe password and write it down immediately
  3. Click "Create New Wallet"

  4. Download your Keystore File. Do not lose this, DO NOT GIVE THIS TO ANYONE!
  5. Click "I understand. Continue"

  6. Save your Private Key.  Do not lose this, DO NOT GIVE THIS TO ANYONE! NEVER! There is no need for anyone but you to know it. Not in an Airdrop, not for an ICO, not even for a support employee. No human being but you should ever know this.
  7. Print your paper wallet. This is an additional security measure so you don't lose your wallet access.
  8. Click "Save Your Address"
  9. You have created your wallet. Congratulations, you are now an official crypto currency wallet owner!

What's next?

Check your balance
  1. Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/#view-wallet-info
  2. Select "Private Key" or "Keystore File", whatever you prefer
  3. Enter the required data

  4. Here you can see your balance (on the right) and your wallet address. The WALLET ADDRESS is THE ONLY THING you may ever give to somebody else.
Sending currencies
  1. Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/#send-transaction
  2. Select "Private Key" or "Keystore File", whatever you prefer
  3. Enter the required data

  4. Fill the destination address (i.e. our smart contract/ICO address)
  5. Fill in the amount you want to send
  6. Set the gas limit to the desired amount (Usually the standard Gas Limit is alright, for interacting with smart contracts like you have to for an ICO it should be higher. Most of the time the ICO documents tell you how high you shoud set you Gas Limit)
  7. Click "Generate Transaction"
  8. Click "Send Transaction"
  9. You have now sent your transaction and are presented with a link to etherscan.io where you can check on its status.
